Learn more about what Challenge 22 is....

Suicide Prevention is Everyone’s Business

Challenge 22 Program for the Finger Lakes region with members from Marine Corps League (Memorial Day Detachment 468) and the American Legion (Canandaigua Post 256) working hard with other veterans to host the event and raise the funds.

Challenge 22 goal is to raise funds to assist local service people, veterans and their families as their needs arise. The main focus is to fund programs that help reduce the possibility of the individual committing suicide.

Challenge 22 program does not give the money directly to the individual in need, nor do the funds go to National fund raising activities. The funds are raised and distributed locally (Rochester and Finger Lakes).

Challenge 22 funds raised through this program will be distributed to organizations helping veterans in the Finger Lakes region.

Challenge 22 program members recognize and understand there are many individuals in need in our community. Our goal through this program is to help as many individuals and families as possible. We want to assure you that your donation is really appreciated and it will all be used to help meet this goal.

About us

Here at Memorial Day Detachment 468: Marine Corps League, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. From marching in parades, Toys for Tots, laying wreaths at the gravesites of fallen veterans, we aim to support both active and veteran members of all branches of the armed forces.
