Sponsor Challenge
We are challenging you to become a sponsor of this year's event! Less than half of 1% of Americans currently serve in the military. Less than 7% of our population are veterans. Serving in the military is difficult on the individual and their families, and often can lead to physical problems, mental health issues and suicide. The programs we support can offer significant help for our veterans and their families.
Our sponsors are important to us so we love to showcase them on all our event and promotional materials! We're proud and grateful for everything our sponsors do to make veteran suicide a thing of the past.
We are thankful for any support that can be given and we truly appreciate the generosity of our community.
The levels of the Challenge 22 sponsorship are as follows:
Bronze Level: $100-$249
Will receive a framed plaque displaying Bronze level participant
Silver Level: $250-$499
Will receive a framed plaque displaying Silver Level participant
Gold Level: $500-$999
Will receive a framed plaque displaying Gold Level participant
Stars & Stripes: $1,000 +
Will receive a wood and aluminum engraved plaque acknowledging their level of participation.
All levels receive acknowledgement on our website.
Engraved wood and aluminum Stars & Stripes plaque
How is your donation used?
Suicide prevention is a problem without a clear answer. Veterans need a variety of resources to combat the latent stress, anxiety, and depression that can often follow their service to our country. And it's not emotional issues alone that contribute to veteran suicide. Often family, home and employment problems are also contributing factors. Providing veterans with a wide range of resources to fight back against the issues they are working through is crucial to their healing. Together we can help provide those important needs.
Any organization providing support services to our veterans may be considered for Challenge 22 funds.
Funding distribution is decided by a committee that includes representatives from all associated veterans organizations. An emphasis is directed towards local organizations and veterans of the Finger Lakes region.
